What is the dress code?
Answer
Our wedding will be semi-formal. Women are welcome to wear midi and cocktail dresses as well. Men are not required to wear ties, but we do ask that they wear dress shirts and slacks. Please note that shorts are not permitted. We recommend lightweight, breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes, as some events may take place on the sand. Dress to celebrate with us in style while embracing the tropical setting!

When should we RSVP? Can we let you know sooner if we're planning to come?
Answer
Official invites with go out in the spring of 2026, and that's when we will collect final RSVPs. However, since this is a destination wedding, it really helps to know early who's planning on joining us. If you already know that you'll be attending - or if you know you unfortunately won't be able to make it- we'd truly appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible! Even a tentative answer is helpful for planning travel, rooms and events!

Are children invited?

While we are keeping our celebration mostly adults-only, we are including a few close family members' children, which is included on their invite. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a "Plus One"?
Answer
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guest outside of predetermined plus ones. If your partner is invited, their name will be included on your save the date and formal invitation.

Where should I stay?
Answer
To attend the wedding, all guests are required to stay at the resort and book their stay under our room block. This helps ensure a seamless experience for everyone and allows you access to all wedding events throughout the weekend. We've carefully chosen this resort to create the best possible experience and have partnered with them to secure exclusive all-inclusive rates. That means your stay includes unlimited tacos, margaritas, and poolside treats—no hidden costs, just vacation vibes! Please note: Only guests staying at Moon Palace Grand will be able to attend the wedding events. Booking at another hotel will not grant access to the celebration.

How do I book my room?
Answer
You must book your room through our reservation link that is provided under our "Travel" section. We recommend booking your room as early as possible. When you book your room, payment is required in total. You must book your room before July 26th, 2026.

Is there a minimum stay requirement?
Answer
Yes, the room block requires a 4-night minimum from October 8–12. You can arrive up to 3 nights early or stay up to 3 nights after at the same group rate.

Do I need a passport?
Answer
Yes! All U.S. citizens need a valid passport to travel to Mexico. Make sure yours is up to date and valid for at least six months after your travel dates.

Which airport should I fly into?
Answer
The nearest airport is Cancun International Airport (CUN) and it is about 15 minutes from the resort.

When should I book my hotel and my flight?
Answer
For booking your hotel, we recommend booking through our dedicated link at your earliest convenience. You must book your room before July 26th, 2026. Payment is due at time of booking. For flights, we recommend booking 3-4 months prior to the wedding day as this is typically when US to Mexico flights are at their lowest.

Is there transportation from the airport to the hotel?

Yes! The Moon Palace provides transportation to all guests.

Will all the events be at the resort?
Answer
Yes! All the events including the welcome party, ceremony, reception and farewell will be held at the Moon Palace Grand.

What's the weather like in October?
Answer
October in Cancun is warm and tropical, with average highs around 85°F. We recommend packing light, breathable clothing, sunscreen, and maybe a light layer for evenings.
