Jackson and Kristen met during July of Jackson's freshman year and Kristen's Junior year of Marching band. (2014) Kristen liked how goofy and cute he was, so she went up to him and said "you're my friend now." Kristen and Jackson became really close friends, but in September, he started "dating" a different girl. Kristen made sure to sabotage the relationship and was successful, telling his "girlfriend's" friend that he liked Kristen more anyway. She broke up with him, and he was mad at Kristen for the longest amount of time ever in their relationship. The day after, however, they made up and became friends again. Kristen and Jackson became closer and closer through the months, and Kristen's mom told her the way Jackson looked at her made it obvious that he liked her. Kristen really wanted it to be true, but decided not to get her hopes up. In December 19, 2014, there was a basketball game where Jackson and Kristen were in the pep band. During their third quarter break, Jackson brought Kristen into the auditorium and made all their friends leave. Kristen thought he was going to tell her he did not want to be with her and she is being too flirty. Instead, Jackson looked down nervously and said "I can't not like you." Kristen agreed and made one of the greatest decisions of her life. They were now dating, though neither could drive. Long distance was hard for them when Kristen went to college, but it was a test that they passed. Jackson decided to go to the same college as Kristen, which they both loved. On February 15, 2019, Jackson proposed to Kristen in a suit while she was wearing pink plaid pajamas, and naturally she said yes. Don't worry though, Jackson did get Kristen's father's permission before asking, and he said he wouldn't want it any other way. Kristen is so thankful that she found a genuine, loving, and religious man who has the approval of both her picky father and brother.
