How we met

Our story,

Where do I start?

We first met at the skating center in Auburn. I went every Friday night. I loved playing the games (4 corners, etc). Jackson worked there and directed the games. I always thought he was younger than me (I guess it was the chubby cheeks and braces) I talked to him maybe once at the skating center. He seemed to have typical teenage boy “attitude”.
Fast forward a few years to when we reconnected. I was 18 and newly single. I decided to downloaded a dating app! To my surprise, I see Jackson. He definitely didn’t have the chubby cheeks and braces this time. We connected, talked through snap chat and finally FaceTime.
We planned a date soon after.I thought a date for two people. Oh, was I wrong! Our date included 15 other people! Our first meal was pretty awkward to say the least. Jackson was immediately smitten though because he was already holding my hand. After dinner we hung around, talked and laughed with the group. Jackson still being his affectionate self kept pulling me closer to him and made sure he was holding my hand the whole time. Our date concluded with a trip to Petco- (oh why not)? Jackson appears soaking wet. His hair was wet, and his shoulders… he had put his head in the turtle tank! We talked for hours in the parking lot, and I couldn’t quit smiling. I told my mom all about him and how I couldn’t stop smiling and definitely how affectionate he is. I would not have it any other way.
