At the tail end of a pandemic-infested freshman year, Kennedy and Jackson had the pleasure of crossing paths through a mutual friend in Kameron Rice. After getting to know and grow fond of each other while in separate states, Jackson asked if Kennedy would like to meet in person and spend a summer day together. It was agreed to meet where all strong relationships initially begin, Branson, Missouri... We both returned to Fayetteville for our second year of college, and since then, we can't remember a day that we've been apart. Jackson asked Kennedy to be his girlfriend on August 22nd, 2021. Jackson says it was easily the greatest decision he had made as an adult to date. Our relationship has thrived since then. With a shared love for many things, time flew. And soon enough, we crossed the 3-year threshold. At this time, Jackson started planning an engagement. And despite Kennedy's vow that she would know when he would drop to one knee, she had no idea. On March 28th, 2025, Jackson popped the question.
