Our wedding attire is Black Tie Optional. We kindly invite gentlemen to wear suits (a tuxedo is absolutely welcome but not required). Ladies are encouraged to wear semi-formal or floor-length dresses. We’re so excited to celebrate with everyone dressed up for a beautiful and special evening together!
We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone! However, due to space and planning considerations, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be clearly noted on your invite. For the safety and comfort of all guests, security at the Country Club of Louisiana will kindly ensure that only those on our guest list are admitted through the check-in gate located in the front entrance.
We love your little ones so much! While we wish we could include everyone, we are only able to accommodate the guests — including children — who are specifically listed on your invitation.
Our ceremony will take place at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge. Please plan to arrive 20–30 minutes early, as Catholic wedding Masses begin promptly.
For your convenience, valet parking will be available at the reception. At the church, there is ample parking lot parking for all guests.
We invite you to simply enjoy the moment with us! To help everyone be fully present, we ask that the ceremony be unplugged — no phones or cameras. Our professional photographer will capture every special memory, and we can’t wait to share the photos with you afterward!
Yes, we will be celebrating a full Catholic Nuptial Mass. The ceremony will last approximately one hour.
At this time, guests are responsible for their own transportation between the ceremony and reception venues.
We are so happy to have all of our family and friends with us, no matter your faith background! Our ceremony will be a Catholic Mass, which celebrates marriage as a sacred commitment, highlights the importance of family and community, and honors God’s love in our lives. During the Mass, there will be prayers, Scripture readings, a short reflection from Father Cleo, and the exchange of vows and rings. If you are not Catholic or have not yet received your First Holy Communion sacrament, you are welcome to remain seated or come forward for a blessing during Communion. Most importantly, we hope you enjoy the beauty and meaning of the ceremony and feel included in this very special day. If you have questions, feel free to ask a Church usher or another guest — everyone will be happy to help!
Cocktail hour will begin at 4:00 PM at the reception venue. Following the ceremony (about a 30-minute drive away), we invite you to head straight to the reception to enjoy drinks and light bites while we finish taking photos. We can’t wait to join you shortly after and celebrate together!
Absolutely! If LSU is playing in the College Football Playoff First-Round Games, we’ll have the game on at the reception so guests can cheer along. Fun fact: Kelsey and Jackson got engaged during LSU’s 2025 Baseball National Championship win, and Saturdays at Hatcher Hall tailgating have always been a cherished family tradition — so Tiger victories will always feel extra special to us.
