If you want to get out of town visit the historic Timberline Lodge! Jack & I stayed here once as a weekend getaway and had a blast. Not only is it beautiful but the small town of Government Camp below is fun to explore.

If you think you might want to head west, check out Pacific City, OR. This is my favorite beach and has the picturesque Cape Kiwanda to explore.
