Mountain cocktail attire! The usual wedding cocktail attire meets 'mountain' to ensure everyone is dressed warmly and in appropriate footwear for an outdoor ceremony on what will likely be a cool Colorado fall evening!
We have given intentional thought to craft a small, non-traditional wedding weekend with a very intimate guest list. With that in mind, and while we love your people, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
We love your little ones so much (and are always happy to babysit - let us know!) but we are looking forward to this celebration being adults-only.
Parking is extremely limited at the venue and will need to be primarily used by vendors. We kindly ask that you use the arranged shuttles from downtown Steamboat up to Bella Vista (and back) for the evening. Lyfts/Ubers are sometimes hard to find in Steamboat but are also an option - we'll confirm your transportation preference (and shuttle details) as we get closer! If extenuating circumstances exist, please let us know and we can work on parking accommodations!
Shuttles will pick up from downtown Steamboat to ensure all guests arrive at Bella Vista in time for our ceremony. Towards the end of the evening, the shuttles will run laps between Bella Vista and downtown Steamboat Springs to allow any guests the opportunity to get home and get some sleep after a night on the dance floor! Pick-Up Information: 1. 3:30PM pick-up at Olympian Hall, Howelsen Hill (845 Howelsen Pkwy, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487). There is ample free, public parking around Howelsen Hill. This is best for those staying downtown. 2. 3:45PM pick-up at Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas (2200 Village Inn Ct, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487): This is best for those staying on or near the ski mountain. Shuttles will run laps from Bella Vista back to the Sheraton and Olympian Hall from 9:30pm to 11:00pm. Please text our planner, Jasmine at 414-704-9902 if you think you're going to miss the shuttle.
Your guess is as good as ours! Late September in Steamboat can bring sunny, summer-like days or a foot of snow! While we hope to have the former, we will be celebrating rain, shine or snow! Please monitor the weather the week before to ensure you are dressed appropriately and warmly for our special night!
Steamboat sits just above 6,700 feet. For our friends and family coming from lower elevation, altitude sickness is not fun, so we ask that people stay cognizant that elevation can impact people differently. We encourage you to drink lots of water to stay hydrated and take care of your body, we don't want you to miss a minute on the dance floor!
Before and after the ceremony, we would love for you to take pictures and share all of your sweet memories with us (we'd love to see some candid guest photos)! During the ceremony though, we hope you will turn off your cell phones to be present and enjoy what we hope to be a very special event for everyone! The evening will be professionally photographed and we promise to share photos when we receive them back!
Please RSVP by August 12th! Feel free to text or call with any questions!
Our sweet, sweet best friend, Abby gave us the most generous and thoughtful gift ever and took our engagement photos for us!!
