What is the best airport to fly to?

Answer

The most convenient airports are Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Palm Beach International (PBI). Miami (MIA) is also an option — though slightly further!

Do we need to rent a car?

Answer

No. All events will be held at the Hillsboro Club. We invite you to take full advantage of the Club’s amenities on Friday and Saturday. Whether you’re relaxing on the beach, playing tennis, enjoying pitch-and-putt golf, swimming in the pool, surfing, paddle-boarding, or kayaking, there’s something for everyone! If you’d prefer to explore the local area, rental cars are welcome, and the Club offers convenient parking.

What is The Hillsboro Club?

Founded in 1925, The Hillsboro Club is a private residence club for members and their guests in South Florida. Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the inland waterway of Lighthouse Point, the Club is set on 15 acres of beautiful tropical landscaping with more than 1,000 feet of private sandy beach. The Club includes on-site rooms and suites with balconies and varying views from oceanfront to garden and inland waterway.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Early June in South Florida can be warm, but is generally moderate (high 70s - low 80s). The Friday evening and Saturday events will be held primarily indoors (or with indoor space available), other than the ceremony. The Hillsboro Club is on the coastline, so we should have a comfortable ocean breeze!

Do you live nearby?

Answer

Yes! We live about 30 minutes up the coast. If you get in early (or stay late) and want to check out Delray Beach, there are great bars and restaurants along Atlantic Avenue. We love Le Colonial, City Oyster, Avalon Beach House, Campi, Drift, and so many more.

What should we do on Friday before the events begin?

We'd love for folks join us on Friday for activities at the Hillsboro Club!

Is there food and drink available onsite?

Answer

Yes! Food will be provided at the scheduled events, and breakfast and lunch will be available at the Club. Complimentary breakfast is included each day for hotel guests, and the Tiki Bar is open for lunch and dinner.
