We're getting married!

In the summer of 2022, Ava and Jackson’s story began in an expected place, a basketball open gym in Redmond, Oregon. Ava had just undergone ACL surgery and was on the sidelines, there simply to watch a friend play. Jackson, meanwhile, was on the court. At one point during the game, Jackson sank a perfect shot right in front of where Ava was sitting, just enough to catch her attention and maybe, impress her. After the game, the two struck up a brief conversation. It was easy, natural… but far too short. As they went their separate ways, Ava realized she hadn’t caught his name. Then, in a moment that would change everything, Jackson turned back and offered her his number. From that day on, they never stopped talking, and the rest, as they say, is history.
