FAQs

Question

If I am staying for the weekend, how and when do I pay?

Answer

You will pay $250 per person at time of check in on Friday 9/12/25. Payments can be made via cash or check. Venmo will be accepted as a last resort. Camp is not able to accept card payments. Checks can be made out to "Camp Highlander".

Question

What clothing do I need to pack for the weekend?

Answer

During the day as you are doing activities you will want to be comfortable! Athletic clothes are encouraged! Close toed shoes are recommended for the crow's nest (high ropes course) and climbing wall. If you plan to do any lake activities during the lake party or swim when the pool is open, make sure to pack a swimsuit. PFD's (lifejackets) are provided by camp. For the welcome dinner, a sun dress for ladies and khakis/dress pants and polo/button down for men is most appropriate. The ceremony and reception will be cocktail attire. The ceremony is on the field so be mindful of heels, ladies!

Question

Do I need to pack my own bedding for the cabin?

Answer

Nope, camp thinks of it all! Bed sheets, blanket, and two towels we be provided for each guest. Please do not hesitate to bring your own towels, blankets, etc. Whatever will make you the most comfortable! Please plan to bring your own pillow and pillowcase if able! Please note, the cabins have screen windows! The cabins do have ceiling fans, but being in the mountains it can be chilly at night. We recommend checking the weather as the weekend gets closer to know if you need to pack additional blankets or not. There is a link to camp's website on the travel page if you would like to view pictures of the cabins.

Question

Can camp accommodate my dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes! Camp food is incredible! The camp kitchen staff is very accommodating to allergies and other dietary restrictions. No need to pack or plan your own meals ahead of time. Please be sure to note any dietary restrictions on your RSVP.

Question

What else should I pack?

Answer

We recommend packing a sweatshirt or jacket, rain jacket, sunscreen, bug spray, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, etc.) and a re-usable water bottle. Don't forget medications and a pillow!
