I am thankful every day we both committed to swim at Iowa. While in the dorms, I began to leave my door open (*hint hint) and he started visiting me on his way to/from the cafeteria. One night, I decided to visit him-nervous and fidgety as I always was (I really liked him). As I was about to leave I hesitated, quickly brought my lips to his, and bolted out of his room to hide my blushing. Little did I know, I shared a first kiss with my now fiancé!
In September of 2018, I moved to Wisconsin to follow the love of my life...I was more than ready to commit. :) A little over three months later, Jackson took me out to eat at my favorite local restaurant for spaghetti moon pies. Following dinner, we walked over to check out the gazebo on the square in the middle of town. The gazebo was a romantic sight with the Christmas lights and pine garland. As I was turning to leave, Jackson knelt down on one knee. Yes, a thousand time yes I will marry you! I could not stop smiling the rest of the night.
