Alex and Jackson met as coworkers in 2017 and became fast friends at a company function when they discovered that they are both wallflowers. They connected immediately, surprised about how much they had in common and how comfortable they felt with each other. It was clear to them both that they are kindred spirits! They happily remained friends for a couple years. However, they slowly developed romantic feelings for each other and began dating in 2019 and have been inseparable since. Their friendship has augmented their lifelong partnership and deepened their love for one another. In 2021, they bought their first house together and couldn’t be happier. Neighbors have commented that they thought no one lived in the house because the two are quiet and keep to themselves…perhaps because Jackson and Alex love relaxing together and found the perfect place to enjoy their many shared hobbies! They can often be found cooking their favorite dishes, analyzing movies, working on collaborative art projects, or waxing philosophical - they’ve somehow yet to run out of topics of discussion! Jackson and Alex celebrated their four year anniversary in 2022 by taking a romantic trip to Colorado Springs, and they came back home as an engaged couple. The pair would both describe themselves individually as the “lucky one” in the relationship, but the truth is that they are both incredibly fortunate to have found a once-in-a-lifetime best friend and partner in each other. They can’t wait to get married and celebrate their love with their friends and family!
