Our Story
Laurel and Jackson met in the Fall of 2016 during the indoor track season. Their friendship began through the shared pursuit of pole vault (which Laurel later admitted she was mostly interested in to spend time with Jackson:). A few months later, Laurel asked Jackson to the Sadie Hawkins dance, and their love story began.
After a fairytale-like experience as high school sweethearts, the two decided to attend separate universities. They remained committed to each other, ecstatically awaiting every virtual connection and weekend visit.
After graduating, the couple wasted no time reuniting and finding jobs that would keep them close to one another. On Christmas Eve 2023, beneath a roaring icy waterfall in the white mountains of NH, Jackson asked Laurel to be his wife.
They now spend their days together on their farm, kept busy by their shared interests in the animals they care for, gardening, and exploring the surrounding natural areas, as they continue to love and grow together.
