Where and when are the celebrations?
Answer
Friday, November 6th, 2026 8-10pm we will host a Welcome Party to celebrate with a drink and dessert with our guests. Saturday, November 7th, 2026 our Ceremony will be at 5pm with cocktail and reception to follow.
Question
Do I need a visa to travel to the U.S. if I am traveling internationally?
Answer
UK, European, & Australian citizens traveling under the Visa Waiver Program need an ESTA https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/usa/entry-requirements (Please note these last for 2 years so we recommend completing this when booking flights to ensure no delays as ESTA's can take up to 3 to 5 business days.)

What airport should I fly into?
Answer
We recommend flying directly to Charleston, SC (CHS Airport). When booking please note another Charleston airport is in West Virginia. Ensure you are coming to the correct state with CHS airport code.

How do I get from the airport to the venue or hotel?
Answer
Rental car, ride-share apps (Uber & Lyft), shuttles, or taxis.

Is there parking available at the ceremony/reception venue?
Answer
Yes, however, if you are choosing to drive, please be mindful of alcohol consumption during the celebration. Additionally, overnight parking is not available. We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to the venue!

Are children invited?
Answer
Although we would love to celebrate with all the little ones, the only children in attendance will be stated on your invitation.

Do I need cash, or is card payment common?
Answer
No payment will be needed during the wedding festivities. However, please feel free to bring a few dollars to tip your bartenders during the reception. For the United States, card payment is accepted in most places (if not all places in Charleston). However, we recommend having a small amount of US Currency in case you are in a cash only situation while traveling.

What’s the bar situation?
Answer
We will serve beer & wine throughout the cocktail & reception. Please feel free to bring spare bills for tipping your bartender if you choose.

We kindly ask for your love and support as we begin this next chapter, and if you’d like to give a gift, we would deeply appreciate a monetary contribution toward our future (Jack's citizenship to the US, and Shannon's citizenship to the UK!) What’s the weather like that time of year?
Answer
Generally mild and pleasant, with average high temperatures around 68°F/20°C and lows around 53°F/12°C. November is typically one of the driest months of the year, with plenty of sunshine

Will any events be outdoors?
Answer
The welcome party will be located in an indoor/outdoor space. The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. All other events will be located indoors.
