It was a “blind/ set up” by a family member, that became a long distance (Detroit- to- New York) telephone friendship. Intriguing conversations lead us to “we must meet”, and our friendship began to blossom pre-pandemic and during the pandemic. Watching movies together virtually, sharing Birthdays and celebrating New Year’s Eve. The distance did not keep us apart- but drew us closer to each other.
