WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!!

Both of us grew up in the same church but never really payed each other any mind... Then when we were in high school everything changed! He asked me to go with him to his senior prom, and in my mind I just knew nothing would come of it. After he treated me like a princess that night I decided to give him a chance!

On the day I arrived back from a missions trip in Africa, we rode back from the airport and I fell sound asleep. Then as we were pulling up to the house I noticed that we were going down to the barn instead of the house. So I immediately asked what we were doing. He casually said, "oh your mom has been doing work down here and she wants you to see it." Out of pure exhaustion, I didn't think anything of it and fell back asleep. We parked and he helped me out of the car and walked with me to the back of the barn. As we came around, I saw rose petals, pictures, and our story written across miscellaneous chalkboards. At the end there was a letter he wrote that talked about how we had gotten to this day. When I finished reading the letter and turned around, he walked up, got on one knee and asked me to marry him!! And as you can see I said YES!

We can't wait to share this day with you as we celebrate the start of our life together!
