When and where is the wedding?
Answer
The wedding ceremony and reception will be at the Wilson Logistics Arena located on the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, MO on Saturday November 8th, 2025. The ceremony will being at 5:00 PM with cocktail hour and reception to follow.

What time does the wedding start?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM with the cocktail “hour” and reception to follow. Please plan to arrive around 4:45 PM to be seated in a timely manner prior to the ceremony beginning.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code is cocktail. Think Sunday's best, elevated. Of course, we want our guests to feel their most confident and comfortable selves as well!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.
Question
What’s the best way to get to the venue?
Answer
Depending on where you are coming from, exiting I-44 on Glenstone or Kansas Expressway will be your best bet. We always recommend entering in the directions into your preferred navigation system. The fairgrounds address is 3001 N. Grant Ave Springfield, MO 65803.

Answer
Parking will be located and marked just in front of the arena on the fairgrounds.

Are children welcome?
Answer
While we love children, we want all our friends and family to have a great time as adults (we know that’s a limited thing for parents!) so we are asking you please plan accordingly for childcare as our wedding will be adults only. (With the exception of immediate family).

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
For planning purposes, only those with a plus/guest one noted on their invitations can bring a plus one. Thank you for understanding in advance!

Where can I book a hotel for the wedding?
Answer
We have a room block at the Doubletree hotel located 3 miles from the venue. To secure our special rate, please book by Oct. 8, 2025 at the latest. If you try to book and there are no more rooms in the block, please call, text, or email us.

Is there a shuttle service or transportation provided?
Answer
There is not a shuttle from the hotel to the venue at this moment. The hotel does provide a shuttle to and from the airport.
Question
Will the ceremony be unplugged (no phones/cameras)?
Answer
We ask that all guests participate in an unplugged ceremony to be fully present during a special moment in our lives. There will be a moment after the ceremony before recession for guests to take out their phones and photograph the special moment.

Will there be an open bar?

We will have an open bar during cocktail hour, cash bar for the remainder of the reception.

What time does the party end?

The party at the reception will wrap up around 10:30 pm, guests are more than welcome to keep the party going back to their hotels or somewhere downtown.

Will there be dancing/music after dinner?
Answer
Yes, we can't wait to dance the night away with our favorite people!

Do you have a gift registry?
Answer
While your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we can ask for, we do have a registry if you choose to give us a gift. Please see the registry tab or QR code on your invitation.

Can we ship gifts to your home instead of bringing them?
Answer
Yes.

What’s the weather like at that time of year?
Answer
Low 60's to mid-50's. The reception and ceremony will be inside but please consider bringing a light coat or jacket as it will likely be chilly when leaving the venue.

Answer
Yes, since both the ceremony and reception are inside, the wedding will happen rain or shine.
