Ever time Jackie and her family go to New Hope, they always visit this iconic store. If you are interested in funky, antique, and odd items and clothing, this is the place for you. Although the outside of their store is filled with rare and obscure oddities, they are a must visit location when in New Hope. Pop in and try on some vintage sunglasses from the 1960s or get your fortune told by the mystical Zoltar from "Big."
C'est La Vie French Bakery & Cafe
This is Jackie's favorite French bakery in New Hope, PA. Every time they go to New Hope, Jackie has to bring home their delicious and authentic French macrons and madeleines. If you do decide to buy a macron, don't forget a latte to go. This hidden gem transports you to Paris right when you walk in the door. Bon Appetit :)
Farley's Bookshop
This is another hotspot for Jackie whenever she visits New Hope, PA. This hidden gem is filled with books of all genres and writing styles. Come here if you want to find your next adventure within a book.
Bucks County Playhouse
This playhouse is located in the middle of all the antique stores, cute boutiques, and amazing restaurants. Many plays have been performed here. If you have time, you can go and catch a show here or even grab a bite to eat at the Deck restaurant. When heading to this playhouse, you get to walk over the stone bridge that overlooks the calm Delaware River waters behind you. Sometimes, if you're lucky, ducks and swans can be seen relaxing there.
New Hope Ferry Market
This indoor and outdoor market place is filled with delicious food and cute boutiques. If you decide to stop by the market, be advise that they offer many free tastings for wineries and breweries. Inside the marketplace you can find the Unionville Vineyard Winery and the Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company.
Logan Inn
First established in the 1700s, this landmark, historic property is a block from the Delaware River and a 2-minute walk to the Buck's County Playhouse. A pair of on-site restaurants have seating on a glass-enclosed porch and a tented patio; one offers upscale Mediterranean cuisine and the other features casual American fare, Belgian beer and cocktails.
Marsha Brown
This restaurant is located in the center of New Hope, PA and is housed inside a 125 year old Church. They serve delicious Creole dishes. If you have time and want to try some delicious Louisianan cuisine, you must visit this place.
Delaware Canal Trail
Walking down these historical paths, you can take in several sights of the Delaware River, wildlife, rustic homes, and antique towns filled with cute shops.
New Hope Railroad
Enjoy a traditional American railroad experience on a heritage train, departing from our 1891 Witch’s Hat Train Station in the Center of New Hope, Pennsylvania. On our Traditional Excursion, passengers will enjoy a 45 minute, round-trip train ride through scenic Bucks County on the “New Hope Branch” route, which was originally part of the North-East Pennsylvania Railroad, later the Reading Railroad.
