We are currently working on securing room blocks in Newport. When confirmed, we will add the information needed on the "Travel" page of our site so you can book a room at a discounted rate with other guests.
We appreciate those traveling long distances to celebrate with us. The nearest airport is T.F. Green International Airport in Providence, RI. This is about a 50 minute drive to Newport and can be accessed by uber or lyft. Another airport option is Boston Logan International Airport. This is about a 1.5-2 hour drive to Newport.
The ceremony will take place at The Church of Jesus Savior in Newport, RI. The Church has limited parking available and has made note that all cars must be removed from the parking lots immediately following the ceremony so that people coming to later Masses may have room to park. Uber and lyft are readily available in Newport if needed.
1:15pm. Plan to arrive to the ceremony 15 minutes or more before the start time of 1:30pm to ensure you are seated before start time. Once the ceremony has begun, the church may not allow you to enter.
We are currently working on securing transportation to the reception venue and back so those of you staying in Newport can enjoy a stress free night.
Yes! Oceancliff has plenty of guest parking for those of you taking your own transportation to the venue.
While we adore your children, we'd love for you to have the night to relax and celebrate! Our reception will be adults only besides immediate family. Thank you for your understanding!
Welcome Drinks: This event is dressy-casual. What you would wear to a nice dinner out with friends. Ceremony and Reception: The attire for the wedding day is black-tie optional. We'd love for you to get dressed up with us! Full-length gowns, long formal dresses, dressy jumpsuits and pantsuits, tuxedos and suits. Sparkle and sequins are highly encouraged :)
For our out-of-town guests, mid-December in Newport can be chilly with a chance of snow or rain. Please plan accordingly for New England winter weather and check the forecast before leaving. The reception will have a coat check and fireplaces to get cozy when inside!

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request a phone free ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present within a place of worship. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating an intimate and holy ceremony. Feel free to take as many pictures as you like during the reception!
