Can I bring a date/plus 1?

Answer

As we have a limited number of guests that we are able to accommodate, your formal invitation that will be sent to you will indicate if you are given a plus one by including your significant other's name or by stating "guest." At that time, you will be able to RSVP for the total number of invitees that are listed on your formal invitation. If there is doubt or clarification is needed, please reach out to the couple.

Are children welcome?

Jose and Jackie love kids but with respect, this is an adults only (16+) occasion (with the exception of the flower girl and ring bearer). We hope you understand our decision to make our wedding kid-free, and we hope you take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate with us!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Puerto Rico's daily high temperatures are around 85°F, daily low temperatures are around 74°F. With humidity averaging at 77%. April is the month with the least rainfall and the ocean temperature is about 80.4°F, perfect for swimming comfortably.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Spring cocktail (semi formal) - these outfits are generally lighter than what you might have worn to a winter event: lighter in terms of fabric, color and overall feel. Instead of velvet, wool and cashmere, spring cocktail attire is usually made from fabrics like silk, satin, cotton and linen. And when it comes to color, while black is always in fashion, and shades like navy, burgundy and emerald green are elegant all year round, in spring, you might consider lighter hues like baby blues, light pinks, and vibrant orange and yellow. Are the ceremony and reception areas wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, the entire venue is wheelchair accessible. There is also a ramp to the reception area.

Is the Wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the Ceremony and Reception are outdoors. The venue is located in a garden with the most beautiful vegetation, the only way to appreciate the beauty and the fresh air is to celebrate outside. Don't worry, the reception will be under a tent in case of rain but the weather should be pretty good and if the dance floor starts to heat up there are industrial fans that will help guests cool off.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we would love for you to take your own photos but please be considerate of our photographer/videographer and be aware of those around you. Please share your photos with the couple and when posting on Social Media use the hashtag #CruzDownTheAisle

Where should I park?

Answer

The venue, Los Jardines del Castillo has plenty of parking for all of our guests.

Question

Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?

Answer

We are currently working on trying to get transportation to assist our guests, but currently we can not guarantee it. At this time, please consider renting a car or taking an Uber (about $20 one way).
