Georgetown
Whether you head to the waterfront or visit the many restaurants and shops, Georgetown is a great place to walk around on a nice day and is less than a mile away from the venue. Some great spots: Baked and Wired, Brasserie Liberté, Osteria Mozza, Fiola Mare, Filomena & Martin's Tavern
United States Capitol
Please let us know if you'd like a Capitol tour. Depending on the interest level, we may arrange a group tour on Friday.
Smithsonian Museums & Galleries
Jackie's favorite: The National Portrait Gallery which is home to the only complete collection of presidential portraits outside of the White House. Colin's favorite: The National Air and Space Museum where you can see the Wright Brothers exhibit, Apollo 11, and more. If you have time, the museum's annex (the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center) out by Dulles is his actual favorite and they are home to displays of thousands of aviation and space artifacts.
National Mall
A two mile stretch from the Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol Building. Check out the Washington Monument, White House, the World War II Memorial, and more along the way.
Old Ebbitt Grill
Another D.C. staple across the street from the White House. Presidents Ulysses S. Grant, Andrew Johnson, Grover Cleveland, Theodore Roosevelt and Warren Harding supposedly used to frequent.
