We met at San Jose State while on our college newspaper, I was an editor and he was a staff writer. Our interactions were limited to awkward run-ins in elevators and occasional rock paper scissors matches during lectures (all instigated by William). We began spending more time together toward the end of the semester after bonding over our love for The Beatles. After a few weeks of hanging out, we began dating in May 2018. Then William broke up with me two weeks later lol. We were on the newspaper again the following semester where we saw each other four days a week for several hours a day, which was awkward at first. Somewhere down the line we reconnected and started talking more as friends. We started to get to know each other more which led to us slowly feeling closer and closer. We started hanging out everyday doing little things together like mini golfing or going to get In-N-Out together. On the last day of the semester William asked me to be his girlfriend (for the second time). I cautiously agreed and warned him this was his last chance and not to mess up twice, now here we are writing this for our wedding. <3 Después de algunas semanas de salir juntos, empesamos nuestro noviasgo en mayo de 2018. Luego rompimos dos semanas después jajaja. Volvimos a ver nos en el periódico el semestre siguiente, donde nos veíamos cuatro días a la semana durante varias horas al día. En algún momento nos volvimos a conectar y comenzamos a hablar más como amigos. Empezamos a conocernos más, lo que nos llevó a sentirnos cada vez más cerca. Empezamos a pasar el rato todos los días haciendo pequeñas cosas juntos como jugar al minigolf o ir a In-N-Out juntos. El último día del semestre William me pidio que fuera su novia... por la segunda vez. Yo acepte con cautela jaja. Le averti que esta era la última oportunidad y que no se equivocara dos veces y ahora aquí estamos escribiendo esto para nuestra boda. <3
San Francisco is one of our favorite places to visit, we've even made it a tradition to celebrate our anniversary there. This past October, William and I visited the Japanese tea garden hoping to see the fall foliage. I was hopeful William would pop the question there, when he didn't I was convinced I misread the situation. We wound up going to the botanical garden afterwards and walked around until we found a secluded garden surrounded by a pond and trees. While I looked over the water I turned around to find William down on one knee and holding a ring. There was a lot of crying and jumping before I said yes. San Francisco es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para visitar, es nuestra tradición celebrar nuestro aniversario allí. En octubre pasado, William y yo visitamos el jardín japonés para ver el follaje de otoño. Tenía la esperanza de que William me pidiera casarme con él, cuando no lo hizo, estaba convencida de que había interpretado mal la situación. Despues de eso, jardín botánico después y caminamos hasta que encontramos un lugar aislado rodeado por un estanque y árboles.
