We both took a faithful leap through a dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel where Jackie will forever deny that she left me on "read" for multiple weeks. Through persistence and extremely funny jokes, she agreed to meet me for dinner. We met at a Korean BBQ restaurant and it was love at first bite as we filled our bellies with savory meats and thoroughly enjoyed each other's company. It is hard to describe how I fell for Jackie, but I did. She took me for all my flaws and taught me how to be a better man. Just like well-marinated pork belly, I cannot imagine my life without her.

I dropped Vu off at the airport Friday evening for a golf trip with the guys in Arizona. He had been planning this for months, so I was looking forward to a quiet weekend and a nice surprise birthday dinner for one of our friends. Little did I know, he got picked up shortly after I dropped him off at the airport and went straight back home to his apartment.
