FAQs

FAQs
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

YES! The dress code is Black Tie Optional and will be strictly enforced. What does that mean? Oh my god, SO glad you asked!! We would love for you to dress in your most fancy, stylish outfits. The wedding is in spring, so bright colors and fun patterns are encouraged. From Vogue, "Black tie optional is when a couple wants their wedding to look like and be a formal affair—but understands that implies fancier (and often more expensive) attire for guests. So, while they hope guests will dress in black tie, they’re also giving people more aesthetic leeway to avoid any undue stress or burden to those who may not be able to wear a tuxedo or evening gown." https://www.vogue.com/slideshow/dear-alex-black-tie-optional-wedding-dress-code

Question

Are there any clothing choices I should avoid?

Answer

Let's see what Vogue has to say on this topic: https://www.vogue.com/slideshow/dear-alex-black-tie-optional-wedding-dress-code "Day dresses and sandals are a no for women, as well as khaki slacks for men." Please do not wear anything that could be considered casual. Sun dresses, sneakers, etc. are not a good fit. Please be conscious of light colors that could appear white in certain lighting. Avoid floral patterns that are on a white background. If you are unsure about your clothing choice, please feel free to confirm with the bride!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you RSVP online, "Guest" will appear alongside your name if you were provided a plus-one. Otherwise, we are not able to accommodate extra guests. Mistakes do happen. If you believe we missed someone or you cannot locate your name in the RSVP system, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Question

Answer
