How far is the venue from the airport and how should I get there?

Answer

Creek Haus is about 45 minutes from Austin Airport. We recommend renting a car for the weekend. We will likely have shuttles on the night of the wedding to ensure our guests enjoy our big night to the max and get home safely. However, the rest of the time, you will need a car to get around.

What days should / can I be there to celebrate with y'all?

Our wedding is going to be a weekend full of fun. It will be starting on Thursday, November 3rd and ending on Sunday, November 6th. You are welcome to come for the full timeline, just the wedding, or ANYTHING in-between.

Do I need to buy a gift?

Answer

Gifts are not required for our wedding. Our friends / fam celebrating our big day with us is the greatest gift we could ever ask for. However, if you feel compelled to celebrate us with a gift, we won't fight you on it :). In lieue of any material gift, please donate to our HoneyFund here https://www.honeyfund.com/wedding/haisley-swanson-05-15-2021 which will go to fund our honeymoon.

How should I dress on the big day?

Answer

We are hoping to have a tasteful 70s themed wedding. Think velvet, bellbottoms, flower crowns, and groovy paisley prints. Please avoid going to your local costume stores and dressing up like Dumb and Dumber :). If you feel more comfy dressing in traditional wedding attire, rock on, we are a judge free zone.
