Michael and I met on Zoosk.com. We were both a bit hesitant to do online dating. But we both gave it a try and it was definitely the right decision!!

Michael and I were in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina on the beach when he proposed! We were there with Michael’s family to celebrate his parent’s 35th Wedding Anniversary. We had a wonderful week all together at the Pink house! Michael had planned for us to stay in Pawley’s Island a bit longer to celebrate our anniversary of one year of dating! We stayed at a beautiful place right on the ocean. On July 6th, Michael and I decided to go out to dinner. We then went on a walk on the beach. It was very dark out but we brought Michael’s phone to use the flash light so we could see. There were a lot of crabs running around that night. Michael asked if we could sit down for a bit so we did. He was playing with the sand, and I kept asking him what he was doing in which he replied, “Just playing in the sand.” Well, I looked over and I thought I saw the word, Marry, written in the sand but I thought maybe I was dreaming. Michael then asked me to stand up and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! He also wrote in the sand, Jackie will you marry me? It was an amazing night and the proposal was perfect!! :)
