Actually, Jackie and Kyle met in college at Salisbury University on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (Go Gulls) in 2014. Jackie played for the women's soccer team and Kyle played for the men's lacrosse team. Though Salisbury has a relatively small campus, they didn't cross paths very often except for the occasional glance at the library, dining hall, or lacrosse party. It wasn't until Jackie's Junior year, that her roommate/teammate, Julie, asked Jackie, "did you know there is a triplet on the lacrosse team?" Since Jackie is also a triplet, she was instantly curious. After formally being introduced at a holiday party, Jackie and Kyle both knew they had more of a connection beyond their mutual fun fact! Jackie and Kyle spent a lot of time getting to know each other over the time left at school as Kyle was going to be graduating just a few months after they began dating in February 2015. Throughout 2016, in between job interviews and National Park trips, Kyle found the time to visit Jackie many weekends over the course of her senior year in college and in her hometown Potomac, MD and Jackie eagerly hopped in her car to make her first solo road trip to visit Kyle in his hometown Morristown, NJ. While Kyle accepted his first (and current) job as a teacher at Morristown High, Jackie entered her Master's program in Washington, DC to become an Occupational Therapist. For 4 years, Jackie and Kyle continued their long-distance relationship between Maryland and New Jersey (shout out to their parents for funding their EZ-passes and shout out to Kyle's brother, Doug, for allowing his apartment in Baltimore to be their getaway on weekends). Jackie and Kyle made the most of their time when together, whether it was planning a weekend visit in Potomac (mostly to go to Chick-fil-A) or Morristown, or going on a relaxing or adventurous vacation. Jackie and Kyle's time apart during the pandemic in 2020, allowed for their individual growth, including moving out of their parent's homes, working full time, and enjoying their social lives with their family and friends. In December 2022, after many long chats with each other and their families, Jackie decided to make the big move to Morristown to become a "Jersey girl," where they finally got to live under one roof. While Kyle finished his Master's program, Jackie and Kyle welcomed the addition of their favorite Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, Ranger, in November 2023. After a decade of their journey, Kyle popped the big question to Jackie in December 2024! Jackie and Kyle love spending time eating, playing with Ranger, hanging with friends & family, hiking, watching guilty-pleasure TV, eating, visiting new cities & beaches, venturing to concerts; and are now preparing to move into their future new home together, thanks to Kyle's handywork (and his dad's and uncle's too). They can't wait to see where the next chapter of their journey takes them...that is, after partying at The Madison Hotel in August! The future Mr. and Mrs. also wanted to point out that their wedding date of 8-15-25 just so happens to have both of their college jersey numbers featured (see gallery)!
