It seem like Forever that we met. Me the young, skinny, black, smooth complexion nurse in white uniform that walked into the room. You the handsome, young patient. I became your “ Night Nurse”. You became my Assistant. While all the other patients slept. You kept me company. Helping me to complete chores to get my day started at 5am. We became fast friends. Your diagnosis kept you way too long in the hospital. By the time you left, it was evident that we had formed a Bond. We were bound fi si each other again. 😍 Our friendship grew. Then Ooops. Came the separation. I left to live in the Netherlands. You stayed in Jamaica. I later migrated to America. It was strange when my Sister called to ask if she could give my number to you. It was the previous week that you crossed my mind. Your excitement was through the roof when you again heard my voice. You have succeeded to find the one person that your ❤️ desired. From our first conversation, you gave God praise for finding me for you. You shouted on the mountaintop “God said I am going to marry you”. I never heard that word from God then, so I did not jump on the bandwagon. Little by little you chiseled at my ❤️. You remained steadfast, never wavering about whom your heart desired. Through our many interactions, you started to wear me down with your marriage proposal. You sold yourself well. I became the Wifey. The last 2 years, we have prayed many prayers together. Asked of the Lord , what is His Will for our lives. With His answers and direction, we proceeded to the next step that brought us to where we are standing today. We have found SoulMates. Together we have embarked on this journey. To do life together, No Matter What. We made each other vows that we intend to keep. Two hearts as ONE. Who shall get the glory but our God. See you at the Alter. True love never fails.
