Shorter version: Jackie and Josh met at college at Minnesota State University Mankato and started dating in the summer of 2016. They now live together in Chaska, MN with their 6-year-old cat, Kong. Longer Version: Jackie and Josh went to a Fraternity/Sorority event where chapters competed for the titles, Greek God and Greek Goddess. Jackie attended the event with her sorority sisters and Josh competed for the Greek God title for his Fraternity. For Josh's talent portion, he played the guitar and sang the song, "I Want It That Way", by the Backstreet Boys. Jackie quietly whispered to a sorority sister, "that's my next boyfriend". A couple of weeks went by and the two met for the first time at a local bar where their mutual friend, David, introduced the two. They then started dated in the summer of 2016.

Our ceremony will be in Forest Lake, MN in Jackie's parents' back yard. Their house is located on the lake that Jackie grew up on. We understand that since the ceremony and reception are on opposite sides of the cities, not all of our guests will be able to attend both. We understand this and wish for those who have to make a decision, to attend the reception in Shakopee, MN. The reception will be held at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN. There is plenty of free parking and we will have the party on the 2nd floor. There is also a free shuttle service from the Holiday Inn Express & Suites nearby. We can't wait for everyone to help us celebrate our big day!
