How do I get to the resort from the airport?

Answer

Taxies are available right outside customs and baggage claim. Taxies are cash only. $45 covers 2 people. Each additional person is $5. No charge for kids under 3. There is other options such as luxury SUVs, limos, etc. These have additional costs.

Yes. To travel by air to the Bahamas it is required to have a passport.

Do I need Bahamian currency?

Answer

No. American money is accepted. You are able to use credit/debit as well. Make sure to let your financial institutions know you are traveling out of the country.
