Jake and Jackie met on the fourth floor of Jewett Hall in their first days at Whitman College. Sparks flew, but Jake didn’t want things to move too quickly (don’t bother fact checking that – it’s true). After a romantic back and forth, their first official date came at the end of their sophomore year, and the rest is history. They moved to Seattle after graduating, got a Covid puppy (Koda), and have now spent over eight smile-filled years together. Last December, an unsuspecting Jackie went to North Bend with Jake to “cut down a Christmas tree” and somehow got an engagement ring instead.
They can’t wait to tie the knot and celebrate with their favorite people.
