They explored the city, from the enchanting streets of the French Quarter to the peaceful banks of the Mississippi River, where they shared their first date. It wasn’t long before their friendship began to deepen, transforming into a beautiful romance that filled their days with joy and laughter. By the time Jackie graduated in 2000, Ian had a burning question in his heart. On a warm autumn evening, under a sky painted with stars on the observation deck of the Royal Omni Orleans, he stood on bended knee to ask for her hand in marriage with a promise to give her the family she never had and often yearned for. Overwhelmed with happiness, Jackie said yes before he could finish his proposal. They sealed their engagement with a kiss and a promise to love each other for eternity.
