We met through our mutual friend Jordan, who is also my maid of honor. Funnily enough, she told Hunter not to try to date me because she didn't want it to be awkward if it didn't work out. Luckily, Hunter ignored that warning. We started off talking about Hamilton and stand-up comedy. Eventually, Hunter asked me on a date. We went to Eureka! and we stayed and talked for 3 hours. The only reason the date ended is that we felt bad for staying so long. After we walked around Downtown Boise. It was freezing, but I kept my hand out of my pocket to see if hunter would hold it (he did, in fact, not hold my hand, and my hand was cold for nothing). After that day, we spent hours talking and getting to know each other, and eventually decided we wanted to officially date. It was very awkward having to tell Jordan, but if we had not, it would not have led us to now. Now we have a dog together, bought a house, and are getting married. We can't wait to celebrate with all our family and friends!
