Plenty of restaurants, small shops and coffee spots in Media. We had our first date at Shere-E-Punjab and they have the best mango margaritas!
Teikoku Restaurant
This is Dan and Jackie’s favorite restaurant. Asian fusion with amazing sushi and tasty cocktails.
Philadelphia Museum of Art
When Jackie lived in University City, Dan and Jackie walked to the art museum for one of their first dates. Jackie tried very hard to impress Dan by reading each, individual description for every piece of art in the Impressionists exhibit. While Dan patiently waited for her for an hour, too polite to ask her to speed it up.
Main Street in Manayunk
One of the things Jackie and Dan miss most about living in Manayunk is the easy walk to Main Street. There’s a towpath parallel to the street where they’ve often walked Enzo. The Manayunk Bridge Trail is where Dan proposed to Jackie and their lock is still hanging from the gate. There’s a variety of restaurants and shops. Some of their favorite places are Mia Ragazza - where their engagement dinner was, Lucky’s Last Chance - with the BEST burgers, and Enzo’s favorite - Pet Friendly Dog Bakery.
