Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is a special day and we would like our guests to dress the part. We would appreciate formal attire. Think suit and tie, or floor length gown, or even a nice cocktail dress. We know the middle of November can get pretty cold so our ceremony and our reception will be taking place indoors. Our venue has a coat room so you can put your parka away and enjoy the evening.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have specially curated our guest list and will not have room for any plus ones. We are excited to celebrate the day with everyone who was invited.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Our wedding will be child free. Please plan accordingly. The only exception to this is Chris's nephews and godsons - Noah and Caleb. And of course Sadie, because she's our baby and there's no way we could have the most important day in our lives without her!

Sadie will be at the wedding?

Answer

We planned our day and picked our venue specifically so we could have Sadie with us. She will be a part of our ceremony and will be staying at the inn with us. We know some of our guests might be allergic to dogs so we wanted to give you a heads up.

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 23rd using the RSVP tab here on our wedding website - if you're unable to by that date, but still hoping to attend, please let us know. Hope to see everyone there!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time to find parking (there's plenty at the venue & on the street), hang up your coat, and find a seat. Thank you!

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We absolutely love our wedding photographer and know that she will capture our day perfectly. Please take part in our wedding ceremony with us by not taking your own photos or videos and sharing in our moment together. After the ceremony please take all of the amazing photos you want - and then send them to Jackie!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

You know it! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! Get ready to party! Please plan accordingly and have a safe ride home planned for the end of the night. Don't forget to tip your bartenders!

What if I don't feel well the morning of the wedding?

Answer

We're aware that a winter wedding can come with chances of people getting a cold or virus. While we want to share this day with everyone who is invited, we also want to ensure that everyone who attends gets to go home feeling healthy. If you have a cold, or are feeling under the weather then please be sure to take care of yourself first and not put others at risk of getting sick. Thank you so much for understanding, we want everyone to feel their best before and after the wedding.

What if I prefer to gift cash?

Answer

We appreciate any and all gifts, including cold hard cash not given via the website. We will have a box for cards at the wedding. Thanks!

I still have questions...?

Answer

Everyone who is invited has either Chris or Jackie's number, and you can always text with your questions. Chris will probably get back to you sooner because Jackie is a terrible texter. Please make sure to get all of your questions asked before the day of the wedding. As this will be our one and only wedding we do not want to be spending the day fielding questions.
