Charleston International Airport

5500 International Blvd, North Charleston, SC Kiawah Island is 33 miles from the Charleston airport and is about a 45 minute drive.

Transportation Information

Usually there is no issue using a ride-hailing app to get from the airport out to the island. Once on the island, Uber and Lyft are not available. A rental car is a great option to get to and from the island. Rental options are located at Charleston International Airport. Guests booking through KIGR can also use complimentary shuttle services throughout the island (before 11pm). Transportation will be available to and from the Sanctuary for wedding events. A more detailed transportation schedule with pick-up locations will be shared closer to our wedding weekend!

Please call 1-866-763-5056 to be connected to a group reservations agent. Please tell the agent you are booking for the Conterno-Borden Wedding or you can use booking number 22002. The booking number must be inputted into the comment section when booking. This will extend a discount off nightly rates on villas, homes, and the Sanctuary. Please note, if you book on the website, be sure to enter our booking number/wedding name into the comments section so they can apply the discount when they receive the reservation.

Kiawah Island Villas and Private Homes

We highly recommend staying in the villas. There are 1, 2, and 3 bedroom villas to choose from. By booking directly through the resort, you will also receive discounted rounds of golf, complimentary shuttle access, and many amenities. Please call 866-763-5056 and tell the agent you are booking for the Conterno-Borden Wedding or you can use booking number 22002. Kiawah also has homes to rent if you prefer. We recommend booking directly through Kiawah but airbnb and vrbo are also options!
