We are so happy to be able to share this day with all of you, who have a special meaning in our lives. Whether you've known us since we were in diapers or met us later in life, you all have a very special place in our hearts. Thank you for joining us as we begin this journey together!

We met in an intro to environmental course in college. As class went on, and the need for presentation partners and class-trip buddies popped up, we always found a way to be with each other. It didn't take long until we became "official", from the time we met between the time we started to date only being one month. Safe to say, that we knew our souls were meant for one another.

We traveled to Japan with our friends! The day of the proposal, Austin asked Jackie to go see the sunrise with him at a beautiful temple in Kyoto. We were a tad late as Jackie wanted to wear sneakers but Austin insisted on cuter shoes (thank you Austin!). Jackie also decided to take pictures of street cats instead of following Austin to his chosen proposal location but luckily the timing worked perfectly. Because when we arrived, a photographer was in place, acting as another visitor. When Austin asked him to "take our photo", we were in position with the sun at the perfect angle and a smile on our faces. Austin gets down on one knee and begins to say a speech he prepared. Jackie was shaking like a chihuahua from so much excitement that Austin had to cut the speech short! The rest of the day we were able to spend together, touring the beautiful city. Our lovely friends surprised us with an engagement dinner at a classy and private restaurant. We went to bed that night full of joy.
