Arrival / Parking

We recommend you arrive an hour prior to the start of ceremony to allow time for getting inside the resort and parking. At the entrance to the resort, please indicate to the security booth you are there for Sifuentes / Pagan wedding. After passing security, it is a short drive to the resort where you may valet your vehicle at your own expense or self park for free at the Palo Duro Lot or Far Lot. The Palo Duro parking lot is the first lot you drive by (left hand side) heading towards the resort . The Far Lot is past the valet and main entrance to the resort. See picture above for more details.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are opting for "cocktail" - "semi-formal" dress code. Please note that the wedding ceremony will be outdoors and we want our guests to be as comfortable as possible in case of warm weather (see weather FAQ).

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The San Antonio weather in September can range from 74 to 96. We're hoping for cooler weather in the late afternoon during the wedding ceremony, which will be outdoors. The wedding reception (dinner/dance) will be indoors with air-condition! In case of rain, we will most likely move the ceremony indoors.

Where will the ceremony and reception be located.

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be located at La Cantera Resort and Spa. The ceremony will take place outdoors (at the "Esparza Lawn"), with the reception hall located indoors ("La Cantera Ballroom"). The ceremony and reception hall are adjacent to each other... you will not need to drive to different locations once you've arrived at the resort.

Are children allowed?

Answer

We are limiting children to immediate family and wedding party only. We want to give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children. We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style!

What are the COVID restrictions for the wedding?

As you're aware, the COVID situation is constantly evolving. We will monitor the situation and alert you of any restrictions closer to the wedding. Please refer to this FAQ closer to the wedding date for any updates.

Can I bring an additional guest?

Answer

We have a strict guest list due to venue capacity. Once you've received your formal invitation, you will be prompted to RSVP on this website. We will only be able to accommodate those listed in your group on the RSVP tab of this website. For any questions please reach out to Jackie or Alec directly.
