January 2023 | We met in Busan on the premise of being friends. However, after a life-changing trip to Japan, a surprise in Germany and about 4 months apart... Dohak arrived in America. The rest as they say~ is history. February 2024 | Dohak's parents bore witness alongside Jackie's mom, as they said " I do" (for the first time) in a quintessential NYC - City Hall ceremony. Present Day | Long story short --> We're back where we started in Busan, enjoying newlywed life and building a future of possibilities together. 2023년 1월, 저희는 부산에서 친한 친구로 만나게 되었습니다. 하지만, 저희 인생의 전환점이였던 일본 여행, 재키의 서프라이즈 독일 방문 그리고 4개월 간의 장거리 연애 후....도학은 미국에 왔습니다. 어느 로맨틱한 이야기 처럼, 저희의 사랑은 더 깊어져만 갔죠. 2024년 2월, 양가의 부모님이 오셔서 저희의 뉴욕 결혼식을 직접 축하해 주셨습니다. 직접 참여하지 못하신 분들은 갤러리에 저희 사진을 봐주세요. 현재 저희의 근황을 짧게나마 말씀드리면, 저희는 부산에 완전에 돌아와 저희의 신혼생활을 만끽하고 있으며, 새로운 미래를 함께 그려나가고 있습니다.

An international wedding takes a lot of time and planning, especially for our guests. While we are overjoyed to invite you all, we understand the journey won't be possible for everyone. However, if Korea, Japan, the Philippines or somewhere else in Asia was on your bucket list, we hope our wedding is a good excuse / motivation to take the trip of a lifetime. •ᴗ• 몇 하객분들에게 있어, 저희 결혼식에 참여하시는 것이 엄청난 시간과 노력이 요구 된다는 점 잘 알고있습니다. 그렇기에, 분명 참석이 어려우신 분들이 있을 것으로 사료됩니다. 하지만 한국, 일본, 필리핀 또는 다른 아시아 국가에 방문이 계획되어 있어, 잠시나마라도 저희 결혼식에 한 번 들려주신다면 너무나 감사 드릴 것입니다.
