We were neighbors in 2019 in Ann Arbor. We met at a party Jackie hosted for her roommates 21st birthday party and clicked immediately, though Luke still thought he was moving to Australia at the end of the year. Suffice to say, that didn't happen and almost 6 years later here we are! Fun fact: Since Jackie and Luke started dating, Michigan Football is undefeated against OSU! Go blue!

On a trip to London with Jackie's parents, Luke wanted to visit an old church garden, Saint Dunstan in the East. Miraculously, it was a beautiful sunny day and the garden was near empty. Luke asked for a picture (his queue to Jackie's parents that he was proposing), and they posed. Luke bent down on a knee and showed Jackie the ring. Having no idea this was coming, Jackie thought it was a fake ring bought at a gift shop and said "Oh very nice", immediately followed by shock and "is this real?!" Luke asked her to marry him and she said yes! They celebrated with her parents at one of the oldest pubs in London afterwards, the Anchor Bar. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
