We kindly request that all our guests attend our wedding in black tie attire. For the guys a simple black suit and tie will do just fine. For the ladies, floor length dresses or gowns will be perfect for the occasion as well as the weather.
We are hoping for a bright and sunny day! The dress code is black tie and our ceremony and reception will be outdoors (weather permitting). There will be some seating indoors if needed as well during cocktail hour and the reception.
Please plan to arrive at the venue no later than 4:00PM. There will be traffic if you are not staying close to our venue so please plan accordingly. Rush hour traffic is no joke in San Diego so please double the amount of time you think it's going to take for good measure.
The Pre-Wedding Shuttles will run as follows: Shuttles will be provided from our hosted hotel, The Welk Resort, to the venue. Shuttles will begin an hour prior to the ceremony start time. The Post Wedding shuttles will run as follows: First shuttle will be available starting at 9:00PM and run until 10:30PM from the venue to The Welk Resort or The Avrit After Party. The shuttle will run from 11:00PM-1:00AM to and from The Welk Resort and The Avrit After Party. The last shuttle will leave the AirBnb at 1:00AM back to The Welk Resort. If you are not staying at the designated hotel but still want to join the after party, you are more than welcome to come! Please note, you will need to find transportation home if you do not plan on staying at The Welk Resort.
Yes, parking is available and there will be a valet for your convenience. You may also Uber or Lyft to the venue if you so choose to.
As we finalize the details of our wedding, we wanted to share a small request: we kindly ask that you leave your little ones at home. We have decided to make our wedding a black-tie event for adults only. We hope this will allow our guests to enjoy the evening in a more relaxed and elegant atmosphere. We understand that this may require some additional arrangements on your part, and we look forward to celebrating with you and appreciate your understanding.
While we're finalizing our guest list, we're working within certain limitations to ensure an intimate celebration. We want you to have the best experience possible, so we kindly ask for your understanding if we're unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those explicitly invited.
We plan to host cocktail hour appetizers in between the ceremony and reception. Dinner will be served family style so everyone will be able to customize their dinner plates and there will be enough food for everyone. Dessert will be served following dinner. We also plan to host an open bar for beverages.
