Tuscan Village is a beautiful shopping area just a few minutes away from the Westbrook Inn! It has a variety of restaurants and often has live music!
Robert Frost Farm Historic Site
A historical site where Robert Frost grew up and started his career as a poet. There is a a free self-guided nature trail behind the house along the mending wall.
White Mountains
This is one of our favorite places to both hike and ski! There are several trails that vary in length and difficultly with stunning views along the way. Some of our favorites are Mount Watatic, Mount Major, Mount Monadnock, and Franconia Ridge.
Lake Winnipesaukee
This is the largest lake in the region with boating, restaurants, and a variety of other activities!
Boston
Boston is one of our favorite cities and is about 50 minutes away! Walking the Freedom Trail offers site seeing of some of Boston's most historical landmarks. Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum or the Museum of Fine Arts offer an indoor option. Although the Red Sox are away for Labor Day Weekend, tours of Fenways are still available to see this historical stadium. Quincy Market or the North End have some of the best local spots in the city.
