Our story that we love to share begins with a moment that felt as electrifying as the music echoing around us. It was 2021, and my twin sister and I had made a last-minute decision to attend a Rolling Stones concert. Little did we know, that night would resonate far beyond the notes of “Paint It Black” and “Satisfaction.” As we strolled down the streets outside of US Bank, laughter and excitement buzzing in the air, I caught sight of him—CJ (as i know and love him). My heart raced. I turned to my sister, practically bursting with enthusiasm, “We have to go over there and talk to them!” It was a bold move, fueled by an inexplicable connection I felt at that moment. He was surrounded by friends, and despite my fluttering nerves, I was certain that I needed to speak with him. But when we approached, CJ didn’t say a word. YIKES! My heart sank just a little, but perhaps the universe had other plans. As fate would have it, we began to connect through social media. I took the plunge and added him on Snapchat—a digital leap into the unknown that turned out to be the beginning of something beautiful. Our conversations flowed effortlessly, and soon the summer of 2022 rolled around. To my delight, CJ asked me out on a date to a wedding. I played it cool, trying not to overthink it. But curiosity got the best of me, and I asked, “Whose wedding are we going to?” His reply—a simple, cheerful, “My sister’s!”—made me burst into laughter. What an unconventional first date! The wedding was a whirlwind of joy and laughter, and as we danced the night away, it became clear that we were meant to be. After that night, we were inseparable, embarking on countless adventures together. From exciting motorcycle rides through the landscapes of Minnesota to trips flying across states, we discovered not just the world around us, but also lots of love in our hearts.
