Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are located at the same venue - Bimbadgen Palmers Lane Estate. The ceremony is taking place under the beautiful Morton Bay Fig Tree. The cocktail hour will take place on the lawn next to the reception hall and pond. The reception will take place inside the reception hall.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be beginning at 2:30pm under the big beautiful Morton Bay Fig tree. We recommend you aim to arrive at the venue at 2pm - 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The official dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor length dresses, tea-length or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit and tie. We can't wait to see everyone dressed up!

Question

Will there be a wishing well?

Answer

Yes - if you do wish to celebrate with a gift, a contribution towards our wishing well would be much appreciated. Cash would be our preference rather than gift cards. We will also not be having a gift registry.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask all phones and cameras to be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer and videographer to capture the best moments, which we will absolutely share with you.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There are some parking spots on the right as you enter the property. Please do not park in front of the ceremony spot. Otherwise there is parking on the street.

Question

Food & Drinks

Answer

During the cocktail hour there will be canapés being handed around. An entree and alternative meals will be served during reception as well as desert and a wedding cake. Beer and wine are available throughout the entire day which is on us. Non alcoholic drinks and tea and coffee are also available. While spirits are not included in the beverage package, they are available for you to purchase via Eftpos.
