One fine day in whatever month it was in 2014, Stephanie was laying on a couch playing GoldenEye 007 on Nintendo 64 at a friend’s house. The friend’s house she was staying at was having a band meeting in the other room. In walked the drummer of said band and his name was Jack Love. He saw Stephanie playing the game and mentioned something like “Oh I could totally beat you.” Or something sassy as such. Stephanie took the bait and demanded he challenge her then. She remembers beating him at least once or twice but he maintains that he beat the living crap out of her overall. After he supposedly beat her at 007 he went into the other room to attend to the band meeting. Stephanie remembered thinking to herself “Well, he was cute and funny. Sigh” They didn’t see each other again until maybe a year later when they were both single. Stephanie asked him out on a date and they went to get brunch one day. After months of dating he finally decided to ask her to “go steady” with him. A month or so later he told her he loved her after he had been gone away at Army Band Annual Training for two weeks. He had missed her so much and realized when he was gone that he loved her and needed to tell her when he got back. After they exchanged the first “I love you” they moved in together shortly after. A couple months after that they bought a fuzzy white little kitten named Cloud. This little animal bonded them together even more and filled their lives with ultimate joy and laughter. A year or so later he proposed to her in Leavenworth, WA at the Christmas Lighting Festival. Their best friends were nearby watching as he awkwardly took her to a lit-up tree and got down on one knee. And now here we are, planning our wedding!
