Please RSVP by May 1st, thank you!
Though we love all your littles, this is an adults-only ceremony. Take this time to let loose and enjoy the weekend!
Unless your plus-one's name was included on the invitation, we kindly ask that they don't attend the wedding.
Cocktail attire for the wedding day please! The ceremony is going to be on a ranch, possibly with some patches of gravel and grass, so keep that in mind when considering what shoes to wear. Weather in Mammoth at this time historically is in the 60-70s. However, the area is known for some unpredictable winds and weather so keep your eye on the forecast and pack accordingly! If the day of the wedding is looking like it might be chilly, we will have a basket of blankets available for during the outdoor ceremony. The reception will be inside.
Though the big day is on Sunday June 1st, we have a couple festivities lined up for the whole weekend! We recommend getting into town by the afternoon of May 31st to allow time to get settled in your accommodations and explore the town a bit! On Saturday May 31st, we will be having a welcome party at 8PM at Bar Sierra (located in the Outbound Hotel) with drinks and food available for purchase. On Monday June 2nd, we will be having a farewell lunch and drinks at The Yodler (right next to Main Lodge at Mammoth Mountain). Feel free to take your ski gear and take some laps after with the bride and groom after! No worries if snow sports aren't your thing, there are plenty of views to take in and enjoy.
Driving is going to be your most practical option! From Orange County/LA, it is about a 6 hour drive, give or take, depending on traffic. Not to worry, the drive is gorgeous and even better with friends! Though flying into Mammoth's airport (MMH) might be quicker, please consider it would leave you without a vehicle for the weekend. So unless you want to coordinate renting/returning a car or having someone take you to/from the airport we don't recommend! Flying into Bishop's airport (BIH) is also an option. Flights are available from San Francisco (SFO) and Denver (DEN) for our guests traveling from those areas. Bishop is about 45 miles south of Mammoth Lakes so please take that into consideration while booking.
In true Reilly style, we will be having barbeque served at the reception! We are having a champagne hour before the ceremony, bar at the reception will be beer and wine only. Please let Jack or Savannah know ASAP if you have any serious food allergies that need to be addressed.
Since we have been living together for the past 5+ years, we don't need items that are traditionally found on a wedding registry. Instead, we have put together a registry to purchase experiences for our winter honeymoon in Japan! We are so grateful for whatever is purchased and can't wait to send you guys postcards of us enjoying these experiences!
