We met at the University of Nottingham where Jack was studying History and Sasha was studying History and Spanish. We got together after a Halloween party for a mutual friend's birthday. By December Jack had already decided to visit Russia for Sasha's Dad's birthday and New Years celebrations and Sasha met Jack's family at his parents Silver Wedding Anniversary party. After graduating we decided to travel around Europe. We sailed around the Greek Islands and then we moved to London together. The rest is history...

Jack planned a special surprise in our favourite place, Japan. We spent a day in an ancient village and visited a pagoda which is opened up to the public every 200 years. Jack proposed at sunset in a rose garden at Higashizawa Park. We celebrated at a Michelin starred restaurant in the evening.

We built a little family with two fur balls. Polly came first and is named after Sasha's favourite wine Valpolicella and she was followed by baby Luna who joined us in the lockdown.
