Sarah and Jack met in college during a theatre production of 'Little Shop of Horrors'. Sarah had been told that Jack felt like he wasn't fitting in with the older students quite yet, so Sarah decided to message Jack to let him know that his humor always cheered her up. From then, they messaged more, had a breakfast date, and Jack asked Sarah to be his girlfriend on October 25, 2020. Nearly five years later, these two soulmates are ready to take the next step in their journey of life together.

Over the course of their first three years together, Sarah became more and more ready to hear that one question asked to her. At the same time, Jack was preparing to ask that very question. Through all the hints and teasing, she knew it would just happen when she and Jack were both ready. That day came on a rainy March morning last year. Now, Jack has never been good at keeping secrets, and this day was no different. In the weeks leading up to the 26th, Jack would ask, "What if we visited this place on the 26th?" or "Hey, get a cute hiking outfit ready for the 26th." Though Sarah knew in her heart that this was the day, knowing didn't make it any less special. That morning Jack drove them from her parents house in Alabama to Fall Creek Falls State Park (a very special place for Sarah growing up). In front of a beautiful waterfall, Jack got down on one knee, presented Sarah with a ring of her grandmothers jewels and Jack's own design, and asked her to be his life partner. Sarah repeated the words she had said to Jack three and a half years before, "I would love to". Sarah and Jack spent the day exploring nature, taking photos with one of the best photographers in the world (shoutout to Amelia and Jake), and imagining their future together. Though it rained all morning, both knew that it was fitting because they both love the rain. One special moment came as they were thinking about their loved ones that have passed on who had dreamed of this day for the both of them. For a brief moment, the rain calmed and the sun came shining through the clouds. This showed Jack and Sarah that their loved ones were telling them they had chosen the right people.
