Are the kids invited?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be adult only. This is our attempt at making our wedding an evening/weekend which everyone, including parents, can celebrate, relax, and enjoy some time off duty. We hope everyone can let their hair down for the evening and the advanced notice will give everyone plenty of time to plan ahead. *However, there has been a special exception requested by the Bride. Note that your save the dates will reflect the guests who will later be extended formal invitations. Two lucky parents may get to stay on duty. Make sure to thank Samantha you two!

Parking?

Answer

Our recommendations listed in "Travel" are within walking distance of our venue and include parking (check specifics with Stay Charlottesville lodging). For our guest in town, the Water Street Parking Garage is just a few blocks away. However, we encourage utilization of Lyft, Uber, Stretch limos, Helicopters, etc. Whatever it takes for you to be able to celebrate safely for the night!

Question

I've had quite a bit to drink, it's late, and I'm hungry. Where is the nearest Sheetz?

Answer

There is a Sheetz 0.9 miles west of the Residence Inn, on West Main Street. Catch a Lyft, Uber, or Taxi or just walk on over. It's located on what makes up part of the UVA campus though, so we expect it could be interesting late night Friday or Saturday.
