Formal attire is requested for our wedding. For gentlemen, this generally means a suit and tie or a tuxedo, no hats. For ladies, this may include a long evening gown, a sophisticated cocktail dress, or an elegant pantsuit. Military dress uniforms are highly encouraged for our service members. We kindly ask guests to respectfully refrain from wearing neon colors as well as white, ivory, off-white, or any shade that may appear white in photographs.
We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to the start time to allow for parking, seating, and a relaxed arrival before the festivities begin.
We are registered with both Amazon and Crate & Barrel. While gifts are not required, they are deeply appreciated and will help ease our transition into this next stage of life.
When pulling into the Gardens of Cranesbury View there will be a sign directing you to a gravel parking lot on site.
Attendance is limited to those specifically named on your invitation. The only young children present will be members of the bridal party. If your invitation is addressed to “The Smith Family”, this includes you and your children. If your invitation is addressed to “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, it is intended for you and your partner only. If your name is listed individually and, when RSVPing, you see the option for “Smith Guest”, you have been offered a plus one. If you plan to bring a guest, please inform Jack or Renee in advance so they can be formally addressed at the event.
We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have an amazing photographer who will capture every moment with beautiful, high-quality images. After the ceremony concludes, you are welcome to take as many photos as you’d like.
Please list any food allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP. Be sure to explicitly state every allergy and include its severity so our catering team can make the proper accommodations.
There will be no formal after-party. Guests are kindly asked to be off the venue premises by 12:00 a.m., unless staying in the on-site accommodations.
We will not be arranging hotel room blocks. However, if you visit the Travel page on our wedding website, you’ll find a list of hotels located conveniently close to our venue.
